Assistant Resume

If a company is very big, there may be a need for assistants in various positions. Assistants are very useful to the company to ensure that the menial work is executed. For example, in a company, assistants are required to make photocopies or run office errands. In the healthcare environment, a medical assistant functions to assist the attending physician in patient care while keeping good and accurate reports of the patient’s health progress.

In any work environment, an assistant in any department refers to a junior employee who is required to do the nitty-gritty work of the seniors. He may be a lowly graduate or non-graduate who has to prove his worth and credibility through hard work without complaints and demands.

He may need to work long hours with little remuneration until his superiors are satisfied with his performance and attitude to promote him. He should go for an academic upgrade to enhance his career opportunities; otherwise, it can take a couple of years for a promotion.

An assistant in any work environment must be a willing worker who always has a smile for everyone he comes into contact with so that he will be given more opportunities to progress himself.
