Job Invoice Template

There are many kinds of jobs that are done everyday in the business world. Hence, a job invoice is necessary to list out the service rendered to award payment by the recipient of the job done. A job can be some renovation or construction, a computer program developed or modified, installed or tested. A job can refer to any service rendered that can demand some form of payment. It is usually an agreed payment between two parties before the work commences, and would be paid upon the job completion.

A job invoice records the service done with the necessary information recorded for the recipient to confirm the transaction performed.

A job invoice template may record the following information:

* Company Name & Logo

* Company Address & Contact

* Customer’s Name & Address

* Customer’s Contact Information

* Invoice Number

* Billing Date

* Type of Service

* Cost incurred

* Sales Tax, if any

* Total

The job invoice is usually in presented after the job is completed. It can be in duplicate copies; one for the customer and one for the organization for filing and reference. The job invoice is a formal document which is presented in the issuing organization’s formal letterhead. It is a legal document with the necessary chops and signatories.

Terms and conditions may be listed on the job invoice for the payee to note the format of payment, such as ‘Cash only’, ’30 days credit’ or ‘Cash on Delivery’.
