Paralegal Resume

A country and business will have many legal aspects that need to be dealt with. A paralegal is a legal assistant who is employed to assist the company in all areas of the law to ensure that no problems will be encountered with the law with regards to the company’s operations.

A paralegal can perform most of the legal tasks that any attorney can do except for giving out legal advice or present cases in the court. He is the right hand man of the attorney who may be too busy with court cases to perform any research or reports.

A paralegal still needs to be equipped with the necessary formal training in law and be well versed in writing legal documents although he does so in a shorter time than full-fledged attorneys. He must have the same keen eye for details with an analytical mind to identify the causes and solutions in any legal situation. He must be meticulous in his investigations and reports with a fair reporting of the case at hand. He needs to be detailed in his researches to obtain the necessary and accurate facts for any case.

A paralegal can be in-house or outsourced.
