A proposal is very necessary for a company to win the confidence of another company that is seeking to engage professional assistance in some work or project.
Hence, a proposal is an important piece of document that must be well prepared for submission to the client to win the job. A proposal is a statement submission of the proposing company of its skills, expertise, experience, resources and professionalism to handle the project or task on hand offered by the client, who may be outsourcing the task due to some reason.
A proposal template will need to be accurate and informative as well as convincing from cover page to the end. The cover page must be professionally designed with the proper wordings and paper quality that exudes confidence and professionalism of the proposing company; as the saying goes, ‘judging the book by its cover’.
The proposal template may just be referring to the cover page of the proposal which should display:
* Company’s Name & Logo
* Client’s name
* Proposal title
* Project title
* Date of proposal
The contents of the proposal cover are usually center-spaced as the whole proposal may be bound. The proposal could be thin with a few pages if the project is small, or it can be a thick document for a big project.
The client’s name is usually on the front page of the project to identify him as the key recipient or main liaison of the project.
