A ticket is an official document for admission to a place. It can be a small piece of paper but contains the relevant information which makes it valid and of value to the holder. With the valid information, it allows the holder to enter the listed premise for some activity or show. It can be bought or given by the organizer of the premise.
A Ticket template can be of any size but it is usually small, about 3 inches by 6 inches. It can be of hard or soft paper with perforations for tearing off a portion upon entry to the premise. There may be pictures or colors to make it more attractive, especially to a show or performance.
The information that can be found on a Ticket template may include:
* Show Name/Title
* Show Date & Day
* Show Time
* Ticket number
* Seat number
* Organizer Name
* Conditions for Validity
The ticket should display the Show name clearly so that the holder will not be going for the wrong show. The show date, day and time are also very important to ensure admission to the show as the show may be screened for more than one day. There may be a seat number on the ticket to assist the holder in locating his reserved seat. Some tickets have a ticket number for the organizer’s purpose of tracking.
Some tickets have certain conditions displayed to avoid all disputes, like ‘Admit One’ or ‘Not valid if torn’
